To establish your SMSF, SMSF establishment documents must be signed with a handwritten signature. We offer 2 options when signing your documents, please select your preferred option:
Option 1 – I/We would like a professionally printed & bound SMSF register: Additional $199.00 Fee applies.
If you select this option, we’ll provide hard copy documents via post for your signature. Additional Fee as mentioned above applies, payable by your SMSF.
Option 2 – I/We would like to print my own documents and sign accordingly. No additional fees apply.
If you select this option, we will email you the signature pages to your SMSF establishment documents and request that you print, sign & return copies (either via scanning or photos), so we can collate and provide fully executed copies for your soft records. No additional fees apply.

If you are an undischarged bankrupt, you cannot be a Member/Director of a SMSF. Please contact our team on (07) 55 608 615 to discuss.
With outstanding tax obligations, the ATO will not allow you to proceed to rollover stage. Please arrange a payment plan with the ATO before continuing.
You will need to bring your tax return lodgements up to date, before the ATO will allow you to proceed with your SMSF establishment.
Please contact the ATO to update your details as soon as possible, to avoid delays with the ATO processing your SMSF ABN application. Please notify us once this has been updated.
If you have made a personal contribution to your super fund within the last 5 years (including the current financial year), you can claim a tax deduction with the Australian Taxation Office, subject to eligibility,

To claim a deduction for your contribution, you must give your super fund a valid notice of intent to claim a deduction, in the approved form, on or before the day you lodge your tax return (or the end of the next income year, whichever occurs first), and the fund must have given you acknowledgment of the receipt of the notice.
IMPORTANT: Your notice of intent to claim a deduction must be lodged prior to East Coast Incorporations actioning rollovers to your SMSF.
Please notify East Coast Incorporations once your claim has been acknowledged by your Super Fund.
